The Spring meadow die is an A2 cover die that can be customized with the Spring meadow stencil set and/or the Cheerful meadow die set which is comprised of all the individual flower and critter dies and allows to bring dimension to the cover die. But it can also be used as stand-alone dies in your projects. I love the versatility of this collection which allows to create quick cards with lots of details and so much dimension. I also die cut the various elements of the Cheerful meadow die set from various cardstock and glitter cardstock. I'm sharing another card inspiration mixing the @teamspellbinders Release Spring in Kyoto designed by Alex Syberia Designs with additional @alexsyberiadesigns products. Alex Syberia Designs and Spellbinders products: Kokeshi dolls press plate and dies Blossoms & sentiments press plates and dies Alex Syberia Designs products: Bloom die Self-care sentiments Pureland fan stencil Ranger Distress oxide: Scattered straw To create this card, I stamped the Kokeshi doll and Blossoms using Copic-friendly cardstock and ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut the images. I cut a panel from white cardstock, 4" by 5.5" and blended Distress oxide Scattered straw around the edges, through the Pureland fan stencil. I die cut the sentiment Bloom from red cardstock and then positioned all the elements on the panel to see where I would stamp the black sentiment from the Self-care sentiments set. I think I haven't done any serious watercoloring for over a year or two, and I really wanted to give it a try with these gorgeous @alexsyberiadesigns blooms Alex Syberia Design products: Elegant blooms press plate and die Classic sentiments press plate and die Collecting memories stamp and die sets Grateful for you stamp set Self-care sentiments stamp set Watercoloring: Pebeo and Prima Ranger Distress inks: Tea dye and Vintage photo To create this card, I started by pressing the Elegant blooms onto Strathmore Bristol cardstock using a BetterPress and black ink. I then watercolored the leaves and petals using different sets from Pebeo and Prima. I also watercolored the background with two tones of browns to create shadows and a gradient and used more water on the edges to fade it out. Once dry, I splattered some white watercolor and later some white gouache, to have a mix of transparent and more opaque splatters. Once fully dry, I added black accents on the stamens with a gel pen.
