I am so getting into the Spring mood... When I started this card, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to do, but I have to admit it turned out better than what I had imagined and I just love all those greens and blues and vibrant colors. The masking of the branches was a bit time consuming but so worth it, I think! The reveal on that card was so satisfying that I added a short video at the end of this post. So I think this might be my last Valentine card of the season before THE card to my Valentine. I wnanted to try something different, with a more saturated look than the usual. I was inspired by one of the beautiful design papers released by Whimsy Stamps. This one was released just last month and is called Surreally cool sweetheart. I have it in my stash and maybe I should have used it, but how surprising that might be for you, I couldn't miss an opportunity to make another one layer card. Do you like chocolate... more than your Valentine? I'm sure a lot can relate to this card. I used so many different brands on this card, but so happy I managed to mix new and old sets I have a reel of the making that I'll share on Instagram. You may notice that the final card is slightly different. There were less chocolates in the box initially. But a soon as I finished the card, I knew I needed more chocolates, so I added 3 tiny chocolate.
