This scene is totally inspired from a card made by @sandyallnock a few years ago. I thought the fun flamingos from the new @alexsyberiadesigns Paradise birds set were just perfect to recreate this scene. Sharing 2 quick baby cards today which I made for my friend @oceane.bckt who is on maternity leave. Just ordered a couple stamp sets from the new Florilèges release. One of the sets I used has a beautiful moon and clouds image that reminded me of another moon stamp I had from another French company, Mes petits ciseaux. I can't get over how precious they look together. The babies are from the Crafty Meraki Oh baby set... I just love the cute images on that set.    The focal point on the second card is that beautiful sentiment which says: my angel, my little wonder, my heart, my jewel, my treasure, my little one, the gift of my life, my strength, my pride, my little miracle, my world, if you knew how much I love you. Then the smaller one on the top left corner says: A child creates happiness. While I really love cute things on clouds, I recently came across an image of a baby on a hand, which is iconic too, so I thought I'd just do that on this card, using the Waffle Flowers Cari

For these cards, I mixed and matched two new @alexsyberiadesigns sets, Always be yourself and Happy blooms. Wanted those cute unicorns to bring a touch of color to the flowers. I also added a lot of shimmer. I have a very sweet card today with some crazy masking, unmasking and remasking. As you'll see in my reels, I think this is one of the most complex one-layer card I've ever done. Just received the Crafty Meraki Gnomeo & Juliet stamp set and absolutely wanted to match it with the Cuckoo clock stamp set from Pink and Main. Initially, I wanted to picture the life of this gnome couple inside the cuckoo clock, while superimposing the inside and outside of the clock at the same time. So sadly, this card never made it to its recipient. I'm so disappointed for her and also because I had put  lot of time in the making and I was super happy about the result. I'm not the kind who likes to make multiples or repeat the same design (I'm always afraid that the second shot is not as good as the first one and all the reveal and excitement of discovering how the card turns out is gone for me), so it really breaks my heart to know that this card is lost somewhere and not in the hand of its lovely recipient  The card was intended for a Pisces. Back then, I had my fair share of goldfish cards and when thinking of this card theme, it then became obvious that if anything from sea life, its recipient would have to be a mermaid So I went for this mermaid birthday card, and because I was not quite ready yet (and still am not) for Summer cards and blue oceans, I thought of pink sugar sand and pink waters and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by the end result. Hope

Today, I'm sharing a couple Easter cards with a girly inspiration. One of them is for hubby. Not that there is anything sexy in celebrating Easter (to me), but seeing all those bunny ears die sets that came out this season, and wanting to do something a little different, I ended with that idea of a bunny girl on one side and something very pinky and girly for the second card.
