Sharing two very summery postage cards. Those are my last Summer makes of the year before switching in full mode to Fall and Halloween. Eek! Ice or Fire. Which is your preferred? I guess it depends on how warm your Summer was. LOL! I would definitely pick ice cream over meat. I thought the stenciled flames would look cool, but this looks more like a BBQ party in hell than a hell of a BBQ party to me! I used the @waffleflowercrafts A7 Postage Collage die and blocks stencil and mixed and matched some cute @clearlybesotted critters with a couple @doodlebugdesign images. For the BBQ background, I used the Flaming hot stencil from Clearly Besotted with Distress oxides. For the ice cream background, I used a dripping border stencil from Studiolight and for the waffle biscuit, I used a grid stencil from Echo Park. It is so funny that I was invited to guest design on this specific @trinitystamps release because the Candy jar is the set that made me discover the brand a few years ago, so I'm really excited to see an enhanced version released this year. The stamp set is a combination of two sets, so there are a lot more candy and lollipop images to pick from. The coordinating die set was also improved, but the greatest innovation with these are the coordinating stencils. There are coloring stencils which I used in the background, but also reusable stamping/masking stencils. Of course, I had to try them and create a one layer card! I was able to stamp the content of the jar within minutes! I have a reel showing how to use these but you'll also be able to compare how fast it is to stamp with them, vs. using masking paper. The masking stencils are very thin and also cut to fit within the image lines, so when you stamp over them, you get absolutely no halo or disruption in the stamping, if you ...

I couldn't resist the Despicably awesome set from The Sassy Club and @sandraspitareli. I just love the movies and cute unicorn. So I decided to feature Agnes and her unicorn and a couple minions which I made pink to match the unicorn colors. I stamped them on shrink plastic to make fun shaker shrinkies and created an infinity shaker, using a cute rainbow as a background, die cut from white and pink glitter cardstock, and brushed silver cardstock. I used a variety of pink and white sequins and embellishments for the shaker, to which I added 5 mini minions. I'm on the @alexsyberiadesigns blog today with this cute black and gold Kokeshi doll from the 'Spring in Kyoto' release with @teamspellbinders All products are available on the alexsyberiadesigns.com (US) and alexsyberiadesigns.co.uk (rest of the world) stores. Alex Syberia Designs and Spellbinders products: Kokeshi dolls die set Parasols press plate + Delicate blooms die set + Avian allure stamp set and Avian allure die set (sentiment) To create this card, I hot foiled the Parasols press plate with Spellbinders Matte gold foil on vanilla cardstock. I trimmed the panel down to 4" by 5" and adhered it onto the cardbase with liquid adhesive. I then die cut the Kokeshi doll from plain colored cardstock, including metallic and glitter cardstock. I'm sharing a fun shape card today featuring some goodies from The Sassy Club and @sandraspitaleri. I used the Nugs N dips die set and turned the sauce cup into a lasagna dish.
