Valentine's Day is getting closer, so in the coming weeks, I'll share some love inspiration on the @alexsyberiadesigns blog. Today, I have this cute sleepy head missing her loved one. I then stamped the couch from the Smile more stamp set on masking paper and fussy cut around the penguins, leaving a small edge around them, but keeping as much as the couch lines, to allow me for stamping the couch without the penguins. I have a soft spot for cute piggies and the @PaperieInk piggies from the Mr Cupid and Pig Time sets are cuteness overload. So thrilled to be finally sharing the final Comic book mini album which I started over a year ago. Last Christmas break allowed me to do some heavy catch up!   This mini album is a gift for my husband who is an absolute fan of the Marvel and DC universes. C.C. Designs released a collection of 6 stamp sets in 2023 with heroes and villains and that was the starting point for this album. I have created one page for each of the 20 characters featured throughout the 6 stamp sets.   I had a blast designing a background or scene for each character that would define their world or identity. I just loved researching the inspiration, search through my stash for the best sets and supplies and what a great way to finally use that incredible collection of stencils of mine. LOL! To create the album, I stamped each character on separate pages using the masking technique to create one-layer designs. I then glued the pages back to back with Ranger Distress Collage medium.
