I'm sharing a new light-up card with the @pearblossompress One light included in the Halo light combo pack. For once, I did not hide the lights behind the background panel, but behind the moon and rocket, which makes this card super dimensional. I think I've shared my love for the @sweetnovemberstamps Fairwees before. The latest clear release has the cutest set, Fairwee readers, with those two cuties reading a book, but they are also totally versatile and they could be lying on the grass playing with the two adorable ladybugs that are also included in the set. For this card, I wanted to give a glimpse of the story they are reading and peek inside the book. Who is ready for Spring and Easter? Today, I'm on the @alexsyberiadesigns blog with another card inspiration with the Spring bunnies. Alex Syberia Design products: Spring bunnies (bunnies and carrots) Giraffe-ic friends (tall grass) Sweet friend (big flower) Collecting memories (wagon and cloud) Nested scalloped frames die set Meadow magic cover die Distress inks:Walnut stain and Salty ocean To create this card, I die cut the back panel from the regular cardstock I use for ink blending and Copic coloring, using the larger rectangle from the Nested scalloped frames die set. With a cloud stencil, I blended Distress ink Salty ocean to create the sky.  I also die cut the Meadow magic cover die from heavy white cardstock and then ran it through my die cutting machine a second time with the 2nd greater scalloped rectangle from the Nested scalloped frames die set, to create a frame. I also die cut a scalloped border from kraft cardstock using the larger scalloped rectangle. I blended Dist...

Happy Valentine's Day! Sharing the card I made for my lovely cupig. I used a few new @paperieink sets… I can't get enough of these cute piggies.   I don't know what it means to celebrate or not Valentine's Day and I've read many comments lately about it. I personally think there are not enough occasions along the year to remind the loved ones that you care for them and that all the little things you share together matter a lot. I have not enough occasions during the year to drop DT priorities and make a card for my loved one and we would never say no to an excuse for a good meal and sweet treats without guilt. Valentine's Day doesn't have to be a night at the restaurant, in the least private and intimate place or having the poor lad queue over an hour in front of a flower shop. I'm on the @alexsyberiadesigns blog today with these cute piggies and dimensional floral Alex Syberia Design products Hog happy day Whimsy blooms bouquet Tiny hearts cover die Beautiful day Nested scalloped frames To create this card, I first die cut the Whimsy blooms bouquet from different shades of green and pink cardstock. I then  did a little shading with Copic markers. I assembled the flowers and adhered them with liquid adhesive on the stem. Next, I die cut the Tiny hearts cover die from white cardstock and the background panel from dark pink cardstock, using the largest rectangle die from the Nested scalloped frames die set. I glued the tiny hearts panel onto the dark pink panel and then adhered the panel onto the cardbase. I then glued each element of the Whimsy blooms bouquet. On white cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful day stamp set. For today's lightup project, I combined the @pearblossompress Power pack with some @chibitronics fading lights. The Power pack is super useful if, like me, you struggle to create the perfect compartment for your battery with the right amount of copper tape and foam tape for it to operate as expected, i.e., light up on demand only. Basically, the Power pack is a board with a battery holder, a switch to light up the card and connecting tabs to connect the battery to the copper tape and lights.
