Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy St Patrick's Day to those who celebrate and perhaps Happy Beer Day to others! I don't celebrate one and no longer the other, but I like festive themes as they always give a good reason to make less serious cards. For this shape card, I did a little mashup with many great @whimsystamps products and the cute @lawnfawn bunny which I haven't used enough yet! I also played a bit with White puff embossing powder for the frothy foam -I almost forgot I had that in my stash! For other fun textures, I used pattern paper from Echo Park for the bunny accessories (I know, he looks more Scottish than Irish, but I wanted a muted green and a pattern) and matte black alcohol ink cardstock from Ranger. Not sure if you're familiar with it, but it has that velvet finish which I think looks fabulous as is Products: Brewskis sentiment stamp, Frosty glass die set, Penguin pals Pizzazz die set and Slimline shamrock background die (Whimsy Stamps Build-a-bunny and Accessories die sets (Law...

Chocolate makes me happy

Chocolate makes me happy... Easter is just one month away now. Isn't it that crazy? I feel I never have the time for anything lately and I feel I'm becoming a lazy crafter too. I've been struggling a lot with cardmaking this past year and I realized when finishing this card that, a while ago, I would have never used plain cardstock without a little shading and especially not pattern paper! But hey, we change and sometimes, we all go with the flow. And it can't hurt to be finally using that huge stock of paper packs Products: Spring Specs - Large die of the month February 2026 (Spellbinders) Sweet nothings sentiment stamps (My Favorite Things) I scream, you scream dies (Lawn Fawn Cardstock: Toy box paper pack (Echo Park) and Ground coffee cardstock (Lawn Fawn) #spellbinders #cardmaking #handmadecards #eastercard #diecuting
