Today, I'm sharing another way to stretch the use of the Spring tulips stencil set. Hand-drawing is not one of my skills, so I welcome any workaround to help me hand-draw a little something. For today's project, I used the Alex Syberia Designs Spring tulips stencil set to draw the outlines of the tulips, as well as their details. This project is one of the 5 projects I created for the July issue of the Creative Stamping Magazine No. 150. The projects all follow the same color scheme (red, yellow, orange, green and turquoise). Fireflies in a jar are my preferred type of light up cards. I used the @pearblossompress EZ-light together with the cute Flutterbee Kaylee from @sweetnovemberstamps and a fun jar die set from @pinkandmain. I have a couple projects for @alexsyberiadesigns today combining a few products from the 'Spring in Kyoto' release with @teamspellbinders. Once again, I played with origami paper from my stash to created a set of cards coordinating the fans and kimonos.  Alex Syberia Designs and Spellbinders products: Kokeshi dolls die set Fan & bow die se Floral fans embossing folder + Floral splendor cover die + Classic sentiments press plate and die To create these cards, I started with the fans, using the Fan & bow die set . The die set is comprised of a base and stand-alone panels to layer onto the base. I die cut the base from plain cardstock and then the panels from the origami paper, and then again from white cardstock to layer underneath the origami paper which is very thin. I die cut the sticks from black cardstock and the bows from plain cardstock matching the colors of the origami sheets. I just love how versatile the @sweetnovemberstamps Water park party set is and how creative you can get. The kids can totally be used in so many different way and I had a lot of fun imagining this fun scene. I also stretched another stamp set, using mountains at an angle to make them look like a cliff. I just can't get enough of the cute Kokeshi dolls from the @alexsyberiadesigns 'Spring In Kyoto' release with @teamspellbinders. I then blended Ranger Distress oxide Speckled egg over the entire panel and wiped off the excess on the foil. I then watercolored the panel adding Tumbled glass and Salvaged patina in random spots.
