Hello crafty friends! Today I'm back on the @crafty_meraki blog with not one project but two. Both projects are slimline cards featuring two of the new #merakicheer stencils released last week: Funny bunny and Egg hunt For these projects, I also used a bunch of other products! To start the first card, I die cut the Crafty Meraki View from my window slimline die from white cardstock. I actually did partial die-cutting, just cutting the bottom window and leaving a bit of space above the window. The window will be the rabbit den. I then used the My Favorite Things Outside the box grass die to create a line above the den. I then blended some Distress oxide Twisted citron and Rustic wilderness on the grass edge and then from top to bottom, I blended some Vintage photo, Ground espresso and Black soot   Next, I stamped the rabbits, the egg basket and the baby toys, from the Crafty Meraki Don't worry be hoppy and Oh baby stamp sets, on a piece of cardstock, colored the images with cop

Today's card is the result of my first time with my new Karin Brushmarkers pro. I think I'll need more practice to use them better, but I'm already super happy with the result. The markers are really great to use. I had wanted to buy them for a very long time and I'm so glad I finally did. I just love the intensity of the colors! If you've seen my previous post, you know that today we are going to celebrate my niece/goddaughter 12th birthday I wanted to make her a special additional gift, all handmade. She likes to craft herself, stamp and color, but also draw. So I made this little notebook picturing herself with her 3 cats on the cover (she loves cats, just like me). I thought I would also go with the flow of strawberry craziness we are currently observing, because on top of bringing nice pop colors, it happens to be a regular feature on her birthdays: her father bakes the most amazing decoration strawberry cakes for each of her birthdays Inside the booklet, there is a thick notepad on the right, with nothing on it (plain white paper), so she can draw on these sheets. I pre-cut the sheets at the top with my We R Memory Keepers dial trimmer, which has a dotted line cutter. Today, I'm sending you a bit of pixie dust to brighten your day. I think we can all use a bit of cheering up vibes at the moment. For this card, I mixed two @crafty_meraki stamp sets: Pixie perfect and Don't worry be hoppy To create my card, I started by cutting my front panel (10,2 by 13,5 cm). This card is a one layer card, involving some masking, so the important thing is to start by stamping the forefront image, then mask the image before stamping the rear image. Here, I'm positionning the mushroom house which will go behind the fairy, and then placing the fairy stamp on top of it. By placing both stamps, this gives me an idea of how images will occupy the card and interact with one another. I close my stamp positionner to pick up the fairy stamp and remove the mushroom house. Here is the fairy stamped on my card and also on masking paper. I then fussy cut the mask and place it on my front panel, before stamping the mushroom house. I stamp the mushroom house on masking
