A little holiday treat for Santa... looks like Santa fell in the cookie jar. I used the @Streamside_studios My Favorite Cupcake Christmas toppers clear stamp set for Santa and the cookies. I thought Yen's, @sistersnstamps, recent holly table runner was so cute, so I created a table cloth with the smaller holly branch from the set. Sharing a new project for @pearblossompress today! I used the EZ-light to light up the three pictures. The initial intent was to light up the cute reindeers's noses but I had issues being precise and also thought that the lights wouldn't be that noticeable in the end, so I finally decided to let the light spread more widely and I actually like the cozy feel of the lights through the sepia tones The cute selfies pictures are from the new @mftstamps Xmas selfies illustrated by @jenoblade_ For the sentiments on each polaroid, I used an old set from @mamaelephant, called Merry greetings. The background was made by dry embossing with the new Frosty lace stencil.

So this card is actually from some leftovers of the card I posted last Sunday. This is where diecutting is always a struggle to me, compared to one layer cards. I'm either always short of elements to feature on the card or have created way too many. In this case, I had just created so many items that I could create a second card. The cute bear from the new @alexsyberiadesigns Collecting memories set is great for Christmas cards too! The set has tiny gifts that you can tuck in the wagon. I also reused a few images from past releases, gifts and a christmas hat from the Falala friends set and candy canes from the Smile and wave set . For the sentiment, I used the Christmas sentiments set. To create the background, I first die cut a circle from masking paper and adhered it on my card front, to create a reservation for the moon. I then blended Tumbled glass Distress oxide around the moon, Blueprint sketch, Chipped sapphire and Back soot. I then splattered white gouache with a little water all over the panel. I removed the mooon mask and watercolored the bottom left part with Distress inks Squeezed lemonade, Pumice stone and Iced spruce. Next, I stamped the images on white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then assembled the card together with liquid adhesive

Sharing a birthday card for a dear colleague. She is a dog person and since I am definitely the cat type, I don't actually have many dog sets. But I had the Be a dog die from @waffleflowercrafts, so I thought it would be fun to do something with it. I won't lie to you; I did not envision this card straight away. I had already created the pumpkin and apple shape cards a few days before. And while I was creating a card involving some winter foliage, I came across the Jingle bell joy die set from @alexsyberiadesigns and it occurred to me that the smaller bell would make the perfect hip knob for a Christmas ornament! To create this easel card, I started by die cutting a circle with the Timeless blooms celebration die and blended Distress oxides Candied apple, Lumberjack plaid and Black soot. I then die cut the cardbase with the Timeless blooms celebration circle die : I took a piece of cardstock twice the size of the die and scored in the middle. Once folded, I taped the die, making it stick out of the fold, so that it doesn't get cut.
