Year of the tiger

Along with the hop, I'm sharing my first card with products from new release #merakihugs. I have paired the Year of the tiger stamp set with the Wanderlust background

I started with the background which I die cut from dark blue cardstock with the Wanderlust background die. This die is awesome as it only cuts out the texture. There is no edge to it, so you can actually use it on any paper size. I also darkened the top edge with Distress oxide Black soot. I then die cut the numbers using Artemio dies. And finally, I layered the background on a gold cardstock

I then die cut the cloud shape with cloud edge dies from Hero Arts and I stamped all the cute characters and critters. I colored the entire pane with copic markers and adhered it onto my background. To finish the card, I added some white accents here and there with a gel pen.
