The June Craftroomers' Inspiration Hop has just started on Instagram. Come hop along with us for lots of Summer inspiration and a chance to win one of the cards. This quarter theme is Summer, including Beach, Traveling and Camping. As an alternative theme, we could also explore the Love theme with Weddings and anniversaries. I originally wanted to create an Anniversary card, but I've been so obsessed lately with the Cowboy and Western theme that I finally went for a camping and s'more card. As I was assembling the cute hedgehog, I immediately pictured an Indian, with the long fur at the back. The @sweetnovemberstamps merwees always make me feel happy. The new set is so adorable as each merwee gets to dance with an aquatic friend. For this card, I combined Copic markers and polychromo pencils, which is new to me, but I originally went for pastel colors and finally found the result too bland, so I added a bit more contrast with polychromos.
