Challenge 182 is ongoing right now and we are looking for Polka dots on your creations
For my second take on the challenge, I've made Polka dot lines to create the rain, using the Stitching hole die. I also used one of my favorite stamp set, Unicorns rock, the Grass edge die and the Puffy cloud stencil to set the scene
To create this card, I started by cutting my front panel the size of a minislimline card. I ink blended Distress oxide Speckled egg from top to bottom, fading it out towards the bottom.
With the
Puffy cloud stencil, I ink blended 3 clouds with Distress oxide Hickory
smoke. Next, I stamped the sentiment in one of the big clouds
I then used the Stitching hole dies to create raindrops in the background, below the clouds line.
Behind my front panel, I adhered a panel of holographic cardstock, perfect to highlight the rain and make it look like a rainbow in the rain!
Next, I die cut the grass border from white cardstock, with the Grass edge die, and blended Distress oxide Twisted citron and Rustic wilderness.
I stamped the unicorn and colored it with Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut it. I added a few glittery accents on the unicorn with a gel pen.
I then assembled the scene and adhered all elements on the front panel. I then adhered the front panel on my card base.
To finish the card, I used a glue pen to add chunky and fine glitter at the bottom of each cloud
