Bear hugs

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I have a slimline shaker card featuring the new Birthday bears stamp set, as well as the Flamin' birthday stamp set. I also used the Part time stencil in the background

 

To start, I cut my front panel from card stock and stamped all the images using the masking technique. I also masked all stamped images, even those at the front, to be able to blend some distress inks

I also added a line of masking tape to create the ground and blended some Distress oxide Antique linen. I then removed the masking tape and placed over the ground

With the Party time stencil, I blended Distress inks, Mustard seed, Peacock feather and Kitsch Flamingo

I unmasked all images and stamped th sentiment. 

I then colored the images with Copic markers and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Using a frame die, I die cut 6 frames to create the shaker front. Using glue, I assembled 5 of the frames, then glued acetate on top and added the last frame on top of the acetate.

I then glued my front panel on my card base, added lots of colored and translucent sequins in the middle and then glued my acetate and frames on top of it
