The Watercolour Flowers set from @alexsyberiadesigns is a super versatile set. There are plain stamps to stamp and colour the flowers at once. And there are also outline flower stamps that you can use on top of the plain ones or alone to use with your favorite coloring medium. Today, I decided to use the plain one with Distress oxides and to add additional interest, I also stamped the outlines randomly on top of the plain flowers.

I paired the set with the new Your feelings are valid die. This is a big sentiment die that creates an amazing focal point on your cards.

To create the background, I dabbed the inks with brushes on the stamps, to blend several colors of Distress oxides: Spun sugar, Kitsch flamingo and Festive berries for the flowers, and Twisted citron, Peacock feathers and Rustic wilderness for the leaves. For the stamens, I used Iced spruce and Black soot.

I then die cut the big sentiment from dark grey cardstock and brushed silver cardstock and glued them together, leaving an edge of the dark grey under the silver die cut to create a shadow. I then glued the sentiment on the background panel and added a few sequins.
