I had wanted to play with these cuties, the Tropical friends from @teamspellbinders, for quite a while now... Not an easy task to work with products that were seen everywhere in so many beautiful cards and take them somewhere else. But I think the @honeybeestamps Lovely birdcage layers was the perfect choice for a different setting. For the background, I used a rubber stamp from @thetonstamps and I chose to color all die cuts with Copic markers for a change.
It's been around a year now that I'm doing way more diecutting and dimensional cards, and I'm really starting to enjoy the process and results! I'll always keep a soft spot for one layer cards, but it is also refreshing to use different techniques sometimes.
