Live in full bloom

While we are having a hop on Instagram to celebrate the new Alex Syberia Design release, I'm sharing all the details on the making of this card on my blog today.

For today's project, I used the beautiful Garden of bloom stencil to create a Fall floral card.

Distress oxide: Black soot, Rustic wilderness, Forest moss, Squeezed lemonade, Mustard seed, Wild honey, Gathered twigs and Old paper

To create this card, I stenciled the Garden of blooms on white cardstock with Distress oxides from Ranger:
Stencil 1: Squeezed lemonade
Stencil 2: Mustard seed
Stencil 3: Wild honey
Stencil 4: Gathered twigs
Stencil 5: Old paper
Stencil 6: Rustic wilderness
Stencil 7: Forest moss

I then die cut the blooms with the coordinating dies.
I cut the background panel from dark green cardstock. I also die cut the Bloom word outline, from the Bloom die set, from the same cardstock. For the script word, I used white glitter cardstock.

On the background panel, I blended Forest moss and Black soot.
I also stamped the small sentiments from the Grateful for you set and used the coordinating dies.

To assemble the card, I adhered the background panel onto the cardbase with liquid adhesive. I then adhered the blooms with foam tape. I then glued the bottom sentiment, the bloom outline just above the small sentiment and layered the bloom script on top. Finally, I trimmed the word bloom off the top sentiment and adhered it with liquid adhesive.

To finish the card, I added a few sequins in three shades of greens around the blooms.
