Merry Christmice

I love Mistletoe so I couldn't help reinterpret this amazing Whimsy blooms bouquet!

I love when a good die set can be used in different ways and show good versatility. This is so true for @alexsyberiadesigns Whimsy blooms bouquet die set which you can use to create gorgeous bouquets or in my case, create some mistletoe. For the berries, I used last year die set Joyful poinsettia.

Distress oxide: Forest moss, Rustic wilderness and Black soot + Mica stain tree lot

To create this card, I die cut the Whimsy blooms bouquet die set from different cardstocks: the bow from red metallic cardstock and the greenery from two different shades of green cardstock. I also cut the background panel from the same darker shade of green cardstock.

On the background panel, I blended Rustic wilderness, Forest moss and Black soot from the center to the edge. On the light greenery, I blended Rustic wilderness. On the darker grenery, Forest moss and Black soot and then some Mica stain tree lot.
I then splattered Mica stain tree lot and White copic paint diluted with a few drops of water, on the background and greenery.

I die cut the berries from white carstock, using the 2 bigger sizes available in the Joyful poinsettia die set. I colored the berries with Copic markers E81, E84 and E40.

I stamped the cute mice couple from the Sweet friend stamp set on white cardstock, as well as two Christmas hats from the Falala friends. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the Sweet friend and Falala friends coordinating dies to cut them out.

Once the background panel was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Christmice stamp set with Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder. I adhered the background panel onto the cardbase.

I then trimmed the top of the larger greenery and shaped the leaves to give it a little dimension. I glued the branch onto the background panel, adding liquid adhesive on the stem and start of the leaves only. I then glued the two darker branches on top of it and finished with a lighter branch. I then glued the three berries between two leaves. To finish the mistletoe, I adhered the red bow with liquid adhesive.

Next I glued the Christmas hats on the mice heads and adhered the mice with foam tape, between the mistletoe and sentiment.
