Sharing a couple cards with the @thestamp_market goodies to which I have added some cute nutcrackers for more fun, one from @teamspellbinders and the other from @concordand9th
For both cards, I started by inking and stenciling the background panels. I used white cardstock and started by applying Distress oxide Tattered rose on the entire panel. Then, using the Festive garland stencil from The Stamp Market, I blended Old paper and Mowed lawn through the first stencil and Mowed lawn and Vintage photo through the second stencil.
Bauble card
Spruce sprigs die, Festive garland stencil and Merry Ornament (The Stamp Market)
Dancin' Nutcracker Fritz (Spellbinders)
Another Joyeux Noel (Picket Fence Studios)
Next, I die cut the bauble from The Stamp Market Diamond glitter cardstock. With the same die, I also die cut the bauble from acetate (Lawn Fawn). I then ran the glitter bauble through the die cutting machine with the scalloped oval die, to create the opening for the shaker. I die cut the ornament loop from Altenew Brushed silver cardstock and the bow from Lawn Fawn Ballet slippers (pink) cardstock.
I dabbed Mica stain Winterberry onto the bow and let it dry.
I then die cut the center of the bauble from the background panel, using the simple oval die from the bauble die set. Before die cutting, I presented the bauble on my panel to see where it would fit and used the opening to see where the oval should be placed.
I then glued the oval die cut, from my background panel, onto a white panel of the same size, using the front panel as a guide to place the oval.
I then assembled the shaker, adhering the acetate at the back of the glitter bauble, with double-sided tape. I then taped the bauble onto the front panel, also taped the scalloped oval at the front and added foam tape at the back. I then poured a sequin mix, on the background panel, over the stenciled oval, with a reminder of the colors on the card.
I removed the release paper at the back of the foam tape, and adhered the front panel onto the back panel. I trimmed the edges of the back panel.
I then stamped the sentiment in the bottom right corner, with Distress oxide Rustic wilderness.
I then adhered the bauble loop onto the bauble, and slid the link at the top. I also glued the bow and finally the pine branches. I trimmed the edges and adhered the front panel onto the cardbase
Next, I die cut the Spellbinders Nutcracker from the same Diamond glitter and Ballet slippers cardstocks. I also used white cardstock and Lawn Fawn Black liquorice cardstock. I die cut the hair and skin parts from white cardstock and then used Distress oxide Tattered rose on the skin, as well as Kitsch flamingo for the cheeks and Pumice stone for the hair, moustache and eyebrows.
The outfit was die cut from Ballet slippers and then dabbed with Mica stain Winterberry.
I assembled the nutcracker with liquid adhesive and then adhered it to the left of the card with foam tape. To finish the card, I added Nuvo drops White blizzard on the branches to add a little more shine and added a few gumdrops from Your Next Stamp on the stenciled greenery, to create berries.
Garland card
Festive garland stencil, Festive greenery garland and Festive garland greetings (The Stamp Market)
Winter wonderland dies, Christmas cloche dies and Over the rooftops dies (Concord and 9th)
Postcard holiday add-on (Honeybee stamps)
Festive ornaments (Spellbinders)
For the second card, I die cut the Festive greenery garland from The Stamp Market from Lawn Fawn Cilantro (green) cardstock and the leaf veins from Noble fir cardstock. I die cut 2 branches of the small version and 1 big. On the leaves, I blended Distress oxide Mowed lawn to add a little interest. I glued the veins onto the leaves.
I stamped the sentiments from the Festive garland greetings stamp set, onto white cardstock, with Versamark and heat embossed with Wow metallic silver super fine powder. I used the coordinating dies to die cut the sentiments.
I adhered the sentiments and branches onto the back panel, with liquid adhesive and trimmed the excess on the edges.
Next, I die cut the ornaments, starting with the nutcrackers from the Concord and 9th Winter wonderland die set, using the same assortment of cardstocks and Distress oxides, plus Mica stain, as the first card. I assembled all parts with liquid adhesive. For the ornament loop and link, I used the Spellbinders Festive ornaments die set. The small deer on the nutcracker hat, is from the Concord and 9th Over the rooftop die set.
I die cut the small ornaments and little car from the Postcard Holiday add-on die set from Honeybee stamps and decorated them with small stars, a tree and heart from the Concord and 9th Christmas cloche and Over the rooftops die sets.
I adhered all decorations onto the card with foam tape. Finally, I adhered the front panel onto the cardbase.
