Smile more, worry less

I have some playful bunnies today. If you want to know how I incorporated the bunnies to the floral with some easy layering and masking, head over to the @alexsyberiadesigns blog

Spring bunnies
Hello lovely (floral)
Smile more (sentiment)

Distress ink: Salvaged patina

To create this card, I cut two panels slightly bigger than the floral stamp and I stamped the floral image from the Hello lovely stamp set, a first time, to use as a template, using a stamping press. I then positionned the bunnies from the Spring bunnies stamp set, on the floral, exactly where I want them to be.

I then replaced the stamped panel by the second one, still blank. I stamped the bunnies with Memento Tuxedo black ink and stamped them on masking paper. I fussy cut the masks and adhered them on the panel. I then placed the stamped floral in my stamping press and positionned the floral stamp over it. I closed the door to pick up the stamp, removed the stamped panel and stamped the floral over the bunnies.

I removed the masks. Next, I placed the Smile more, worry less sentiment, from the Smile more stamp set along the top of the floral. I picked up the stamp and then twist it on the door to follow along the petal shape. I stamped the sentiment and the Hugs sentiment a couple times below the leaves.

I colored the images with Copic markers.
For the bunnies, I used W0 to W4, RV11 and R00 for the ears and cheeks, R00 and RV00 for the bellies and RV34 for the noses and paws. For the flowers, I used RV14, RV13, RV21 and RV10 for the petals and G46, YG23 and YG01 for the stems and leaves. For the flower center, I used E49, E79, E77 and E74.

I then blended Distress ink Salvaged patina on the corners of the panel and along the edges. I then adhered the panel onto the cardbase. To finish the card, I adhered clear drop embellishments from Studio Katia with liquid adhesive.
