Today, I have a one layer mash-up featuring the cute critters from @juliancharlton featured in 2 different sets: Collecting Memories and Hoppy Easter. To set the scene, I also added some poppies.
This project is one of the 5 projects I created for the July issue of the Creative Stamping Magazine No. 150. The projects all follow the same color scheme (red, yellow, orange, green and turquoise).

For this project, I used the masking technique to create a one layer card featuring some cute critters illustrated by Julian Charlton for Alex Syberia Designs.
I cut a panel of 7.25" by 4" from Neenah classic solar white cardstock.
I started by placing one of the poppies stamp, from the Cindy Lou's poppies stamp set, over my panel, in my stamping press, then placed the cute bunny couple on top of it, from the Hoppy Easter stamp set, so that they look seated on the flower. I picked the bunnies stamp with the press door and removed the poppy. I stamped the bunnies with black ink and then another time on masking paper. I fussy cut the mask, removed the back paper and adhered it on top of the stamped bunnies.
I then placed the poppy stamp back on my panel, stamped and masked the image. I kept stamping more poppies, stems and leaves, making sure to stamp the front elements first and mask them, before stamping rear images.
For the top scene, I started by positioning the bear from the Collecting memories stamp set on my panel as well as the wagon. Below the wagon, I adhered a piece of masking tape. I then placed the basket from the Hoppy Easter stamp set. I removed the bear and wagon. I made sure the basket slightly overlapped the masking tape. This way, it will look as if the basket is inside the wagon and not on top of it. I stamped and masked the basket. I then stamped flowers inside and falling from the basket, using the Penguin love stamp set.
I then placed again the bear and wagon and positioned the two bunnies. I removed the bear and wagon, stamped and masked the bunnies. Next, I stamped and masked the bear, and finally the wagon.
For the background, I started by blending Ranger Distress oxide Old paper at the bottom, behind the poppies and Tumbled glass up to the top. I then blended Salty ocean at the top and darkened the top edge with Blueprint sketch.
I then removed all the masks and colored the images with Copic markers:
Bunnies: W4, W2, W1, W0 and 0 + RV32 and RV10 for the cheeks and ears
Bear: YR27, YR24, YR21, Y21 and E50 + RV32 and RV10 for the cheek
Basket: E57, E35, E31 and E41
Wagon and bike: W8, W7, W6, W4, W2
Roses: YR21, Y21 and Y11
Poppies: R35, R22, R32 and RV00 / BG99, G46, YG23 and YG01 / W10, W7 and W4
For the sentiment, I stamped the Hugs + Kisses on Neenah white cardstock with black ink, from the Penguin love stamp set, and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I also die cut the Love sentiment die from the same paper.
I prepared a cardbase slightly greater than the panel, from Crafter's companion white multi-purpose cardstock and adhered the front panel with liquid adhesive. I also adhered the sentiments with the same adhesive.
