Happy Easter to those who celebrate. Hope your day is filled with lots of chocolate!
As you may know, I'm not too crazy about staging my projects, but it is important to make some efforts sometimes, don't you think?!
I hadn't done a Kinder egg card in a few years and the new Egg card die from @trinitystampsllc was the opportunity to push the Kinder theme a little further with a mini-album.
Once I finished the mini-album, I realized I also wanted to make a shaker card but not necessarily inside the mini-album. I also wanted to have a little scene outside the egg shaker, and I thought a tunnel would be a great idea but I didn't want to have a card shape that would not match the album, and that's when I had the idea of creating a box to contain the mini-album and have that tunnel shaker as a decoration for the lid.
I'm really happy with how it turned out, and in case you wonder, the surprise eggs and bonbons are already gone! It's Easter for peeps sake!

First, I created the box, using two sheets of Speckled eggshell cardstock from Lawn Fawn which I trimmed to 8.25 by 8.5". The size accounts for the width and length of the mini-album. I then scored at 1 1/8" on all 4 sides, which is slightly bigger than the thickness of the album, and cut one side of the square angles on all 4 corners (Head over to my YT channel or IG video for a video to come on April 6th to see it in action). I used my bone folder on all creases and I then glued the corner flaps together on just one side of the box. For the other side, I glued the flaps after placing the lid over the bottom part, to make sure the lid was slightly bigger than the bottom part.
With a circle punch, I created a notch on either side of the lid, to help hold the bottom part of the box when opening it.
Next, I cut 4 panels 5.5 by 6 inches in size, to fit nicely on top of the box lid. I reserved one to create the background of the shaker. I then created egg openings of different sizes on each of the 3 other panels, using the 2 egg dies from Trinity Stamps Egg shaped card die set and one of the dies from the Waffle Flower Nesting eggs dies as the smallest size of this trio. I placed the larger egg in the middle and center of the panel , using washi tape to keep it in place, and ran it through my die cutting machine. I then took the middle size egg, placed the freshly die cut panel over a plain one and placed the die in the center. I ran the second panel through my die cutting machine and then repeated this step with the last panel and smallest die, using the intermediate layer to guide me in centering the die.
To create the shaker, I first decorated the background panel, blending Distress ink Salty ocean over the Cloudy stencil from Lawn Fawn and stamped the sentiment from the Sunny Studios Bunnyville stamp set, using the panel with the smallest opening as a guide to place the sentiment.
I taped a piece of acetate at the back of the small egg panel with double-sided tape, then added thick foam tape. For the shaker bits, I used various clay embellishments: some chocolate chips/crumbles from The Greetery, Chocolate bunnies from Trinity Stamps and colorful sweet sprinkles from Spellbinders. I poured the mix on the acetate, removed the back papers of the foam tape, and placed my background panel over it, facing down.
To decorate the tunnel, I die cut 3 grass borders from the Concord and 9th Accordion woodland dies, from white cardstock and blended Distress oxides Twisted citron and Rustic wilderness. I also die cut a set of branches from kraft cardstock and blended Walnut stain.
I also die cut flowers from the Lawn Fawn Treatbox Spring house add-on dies and leaves from the Marianne Designs Shadow box dies from white cardstock. I used the same oxides on the leaves as for the grass, and for the flowers, I used Mustard seed and Kitsch flamingo.
I then glued a first border at the bottom of the shaker egg, and the two other borders at the back of the other egg panels, making sure to place them lower on each topping layer. For the tunnel, I created two accordions to place on either side of the shaker. I used two pieces of cardstock 4 by 6 inches, i.e. the same height as the shaker and then scored vertical lines every 0.5 inch. I creased each and then folded backwards and inwards to form the accordions. I glued both accordions on either sides. Before adhering the middle panel, I trimmed both sides a little, to allow the panel to fit nicely despite the creases and used liquid adhesive to glue the left and right borders of the panel inside the accordions, half-way through the accordion (i.e., in the middle). Finally, I added liquid adhesive on the sides of the top panel and adhered it over the accordions to close the tunnel.
To finish the scene, I stamped a few bunnies and chocolate egg from the Bunnyville set, and wood sign from the Lawn Fawn I carrot 'bout you set, colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used liquid adhesive to adhere them inside the tunnel. Finally, I adhered the tunnel shaker over the box lid, with liquid adhesive.
Mini album

Egg shaped card die set (Trinity Stamps)
Mini album tabs die set (Trinity Stamps)
I used the new Trinity Stamps Egg shaped card die set to build the mini album. I die cut the cardbase 7 times from white cardstock, as many times as I have pages in the album. But I separated the two sides of the cardbase in the middle by trimming on the fold. I also die cut 14 tabs from the smaller die of the mini album tabs die set from white cardstock and the eyelets 5 times from blue cardstock, to have 14 of them at least.
I then glued the two sides of the cardbase back to back with liquid adhesive, inserting 2 tabs back to back in the sandwich. I actually started by placing the left side of the cardbase facing down and glued a first tab, face down in the middle side where the cardbase was initially folding. I then adhered another tab on top of the first one, this time facing up. And finally, I glued the other side of the cardbase, face up. For the next page, I used the first one as a guide to position the tab in the exact same location.
To finish the page, I glued the eyelets on each side of the punched hole. To assemble the mini album, I used a binder ring.

For the front and back covers, I decided to create a basket full of Kinder eggs.
For the background, I die cut the bigger egg die from a dark green cardstock and I then used the Grass texture die from Waffle Flower Crafts to give it a little texture. I glued the grass eggs directly on the pages.
For the baskets, I used the Easter basket add-on die set from Trinity Stamps which coordinates with the Egg shaped card die set. I die cut the basket from an AALL & Create cards pack called Aged elegance paper which is all about wood planks. I realize it is not necessarily suited for a basket, but I liked that it looked unusual and I decided that I would use my stock of specialty cardstocks and pattern papers more in 2026, so that's me trying something I wouldn't have before.
I die cut the grass borders from a light green cardstock and blended Ranger Distress Oxide Rustic wilderness for added interest. For the bow, I used a sheet from the Summer dreams paper pad from Echo Park. I glued the grass borders around the openings of the basket.
For the Kinder eggs, I used a middle size die from the Nesting eggs die set by Waffle Flower Crafts and die cut 7 eggs from white cardstock, 3 for each cover and 1 I'll save for one of the other pages of the album. With Mask 128 from Studio light and Ranger Distress oxides Ripe Persimmon and Crackling Campfire, I blended the negative part of the dripping milk on the last third of the eggs. I then stamped the word Easter with black ink using the Critter card puns stamp set from Paper Smooches, and the word HAPPY from Mini messages & more sentiment by My Favorite Things with Ripe Persimmon.
For the blue label, I stamped a small sentiment from the Carrot 'bout you stamp set from Lawn fawn with Versamark on the same blue cardstock I used for the eyelets and heat set with white embossing powder. I then trimmed the sentiment to a small rectangle label and glued it at an angle on the top of the egg. To finish the eggs, I did a little shading on the drops with BG01 and B0000 markers.
For the wood signs, I used two die sets from Pretty Pink Posh: Easter mug additions and Big Easter cupcake and the Wood textures I paper pack from La-La Land Crafts. I die cut some pieces several times to layer the sign on the poles. For the sentiments, I used a couple stamp sets: Easter memories from Echo Park and For peeps sake stamp set from Pink and Main.
To assemble the basket, I started by adhering the bottom part of the basket with foam tape, just in the lower part, leaving the upper part free to tuck in the eggs later on. I then slid a couple eggs through the basket opening and taped them together at the back and placed a third one further up at the back. I then glued the upper part of the basket on the page, adding liquid adhesive just at the bottom of the eggs and slid the eggs inside the baskets. I then tucked the wood signs between the eggs and then added a little foam tape behind the two front eggs to give them a little dimension. To finish the baskets, I glued the bows on the baskets.
For the inside covers, I die cut big eggs from a milky paper and did a little watermarking with Lawn Fawn Jellyfish ink using a different Sunny studio set for each side: Chickie baby for the front and Bunnyville for the back.

For the big surprise egg, I used the big egg die from the Egg shaped card die set and die cut once from orange cardstock and once from white cardstock. I used the Sizzix Drip edge to die cut the bottom part of the white egg. I then stamped the sentiment, using the word Easter from the Waffle Flower Happy Easter duo stamp. For the word Happy, I used the Whole lotta happy sentiment stamp from Reverse Confetti and stamped the letters APPY with Ranger Distress Oxide Ripe Persimmon, masking off the H with masking tape. I then stamped the H with black ink masking off the APPY letters on the egg.
For the blue label sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the EGGstraordinary set from Pink and Main on the same blue cardstock as before with Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder. After trimming the cardstock to a rectangle, I adhered the label with glue on the egg.
I then stamped the top scene using the masking technique and my favorite masking paper from Whimsy Stamps. I used the Bunnyville stamp set and the Slimline hillside stencil from Lawn Fawn to mask the rest of the egg. I then blended Ranger Distress oxide Tumbled glass in the sky over the Grassy stencil from Lawn Fawn. I then placed the Grassy stencil over the sky and blended the grass with Distress oxides Twisted citron and Rustic wilderness.
For the back side of the egg, I also used the Carrot 'bout you stamp set from Lawn Fawn for the carrot car. And for the bar code, I used Open me and T-shirt talk stamp sets from The Stamp Market.
I colored the images with Copic markers. I also added a few blue accents on the dripping milk.

Octo elements and Lookin' shark elements dies (Whimsy Stamps)
Deco edge border dies (Lil' Inker)
Chickie baby stamp and die sets (Sunny Studios)
Nested elongated ovals dies (Pinkfresh Studios)
I made another big egg just like for the previous one, but this time, instead of creating a top scene, I die cut the top part using the Deco edge border die from Lil' Inker to look like the aluminum foil wrap was teared off. I created another similar border from Metallic craft cardstock from Tim Holtz to add behind.
I then created a cracked egg, die cutting 2 big eggs from dark brown cardstock and 2 smaller eggs from that same milk cardstock I used on the back covers. I reserved one of each to put at the back, as the back of the egg and on the front ones, I die cut cracks, using the coordinating dies of two Whimsy Stamps sets: Octo elements and Lookin' shark elements.
I then created the yellow surprise container, using the Nested elongated oval dies from Pinkfresh Studios which I die cut from yellow cardstock. I did a little shading on them with Distress oxide Fossilized amber.
To assemble the page, I glued a dark chocolate egg on the page, then the smaller milk layer over it. I then glued the surprise container. I then glued the two cracked layers together and used foam tape to adhere them on top of the back layer of the chocolate egg. I then assembled the pieces of the wrap, taping the aluminum border behind the milk dripping border and finally glued them over the orange bottom egg. I finally adhered the wrap over the cracked egg.
To finish the page, I created a little scene with a few chicks from the Chickie baby set from Sunny Studios. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. Finally, I adhered them with foam tape.

This double page has the chocolate egg open in two. I went down the rabbit hole to replicate the crack in the egg and reversed it (Not sure it makes a huge difference visually). At the back, I added a pattern, as if there was a cloth onto which the egg rests. For the pattern, I die cut a big egg and blended Distress oxide Tattered rose and then stamped the Criss Cross Gingham background stamp from Whimsy stamps inked with Distress oxide Festive berries.
I added more chickies and for the sentiment, I used a stamp set from Reverse Confetti, called Carton cuties.
On the right hand side, I made another surprise container, using the Nested elongated ovals dies from Pinkfresh Studios. I then cut it in two halves and also cut additional strips to glue on top on one side and underneath on the other to imitate the closure system of those containers. I then decided to make it interactive giving the possibility to lift the lid to reveal the surprise, so I punched a hole at the junction of the two sides and added a brad.
To lift the lid, I added a small tab and stamped the Pull here sentiment from Concord and 9th Mail drop stamp set.
I adhered just the bottom part of the container with foam tape, to keep the lid lose. To block the lid from going underneath the bottom part, I added a little foam tape behind the top left corner of the bottom half.
I then added more chickies and a cute bunny from the Bunnyville set. For the sentiments, I used a few Lawn Fawn sets: All the speech bubbles and Say what? Spring critters, as well as one from Clearly Besotted, called Chitter Chatter
