Today, I have a one layer mash-up featuring the cute critters from @juliancharlton featured in 2 different sets: Collecting Memories and Hoppy Easter. To set the scene, I also added some poppies. This project is one of the 5 projects I created for the July issue of the Creative Stamping Magazine No. 150. The projects all follow the same color scheme (red, yellow, orange, green and turquoise). The design team has made some incredibly creative projects with the new @trinitystamps Buildable burger die set. The die set is incredible and each element has so many details! I just couldn't let them hide in a bun! This project was inspired by one of those toys to teach babies how to stack and assemble shapes. I thought it would be really fun to use a binding screw so the recipient can play with the burger layers and build his/her own burger. To hide the screw, I added a cute bear which is attached thanks to a magnet, making it easy to remove it to reveal the screw and start playing with the burger. I stamped the bear with a light ink, to do some no line coloring and customize his outfit with an apron. For more fun, I also die cut the steak and fork from the Backyard BBQ die set. I am so excited to share my very first project as part of the Sassy Club DT, working with @sandraspitaleri illustrations! I chose to work with the Bird N dog set and made it a light up card using the @pearblossompress One light from the Halo Combo light pack. I kept the card super simple, much like comic strips. The dad joke really cracks me up; I don't think I could have found a better one for this card!
