As soon as my @bibicameron Big cat from @teamspellbinders arrived, I knew I had to play with it and try to make my girl, Kali. I love that you can create a big shape card with the die. Kalis's fur is a mix of grey and beige with cream and is so hard to reproduce, but it was fun to see this card come to life. The accessories are fun too and I can't wait to create Christmas cards with them. I do hope more accessories will come with time. I had wanted to play with these cuties, the Tropical friends from @teamspellbinders, for quite a while now... Not an easy task to work with products that were seen everywhere in so many beautiful cards and take them somewhere else. But I think the @honeybeestamps Lovely birdcage layers was the perfect choice for a different setting. For the background, I used a rubber stamp from @thetonstamps and I chose to color all die cuts with Copic markers for a change.  It's been around a year now that I'm doing way more diecutting and dimensional cards, and I'm really starting to enjoy the process and results! I'll always keep a soft spot for one layer cards, but it is also refreshing to use different techniques sometimes. I have a couple card inspirations on the Christmas in July theme. I really like how these two cards turned out and I hope you like them. Products: Underwater wonders, Falala friends, Merry Christmice, Christmas sentiments and Seaside swirls stencil Distress oxides: Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Tea-dye and Vintage photo  These cards are 4 1/8 by 6.  To create these cards, I used the masking technique, stamping the front images first on my card panel, masking them, with masking sheets which I stamped and fussy cut, and then stamping the rear images.   To add the Christmas hats for instance, I am placing the critter on my panel, then placing the hat stamp on top of the critter stamp and I close my stamping press to pick up the hat. I remove the critter, stamp the hat, mask it and then place the critter again on my panel to stamp it. I used the Underwater wonders stamp set. Today, I'm sharing a shaker card full of happy Summer vibes. Products: Pengu-tastic holiday, Paradise birds, Underwater wonders, Sunkissed memories, Giraffe-ic friends, Summer bliss die set and Nested scalloped frames die set Distress oxides: Squeezed lemonade, Scattered Straw, Tea-dye, Vintage Photo, Ground Espresso, Salvaged Patina and Salty ocean To create this beach scene, I started by stamping the palm tree on my panel, using the Pengu-tastic holiday stamp set and once more on masking paper. On white cardstock, I also stamped all the other images, using additional stamp sets, including the Giraffe-ic friends, Underwater wonders and Paradise birds. I colored the images with Copic markers and added a few highlights in the eyes with a white gel pen. I then used the Pengu-tastic, Giraffe-ic friends, Underwater wonders and Paradise birds coordinating dies to die cut the images. Next, I fussy cut the palm tree mask and adhered it onto the image. I made this card for my MIL who celebrates her birthday today. She lives in the countryside, grows her own vegetables and has this amazing backyard with 2 donkeys that she loves, gooses, ducks, bunnies, etc. So I hope she'll like the card. In any case, I had a great time making it and I just love how it turned out and how dimensional it is. I also stamped it on masking paper, fussy cut the image and adhered it on my panel. I then blended Distress oxides Tumbled glass on the entire panel and Wilted violet on the edges. Next, I splattered metallic watercolor, Empress from Hydracolor and let it to dry. I am super excited about today's card showcasing a new @pearblossompress light, the Candle light. This light is just pure genius and will create an amazing surprise for any birthday girl or boy receiving such a card. As usual, you can light up the card by pressing on the switch, but to turn it off, you have to blow out the candle... Yes, you read this correctly! How cool is that?! I am sharing a no line coloring card today with the cute mouse from the @alexsyberiadesigns Sweet friend stamp, chasing a ladybug in a field of poppies Products: Sweet friend, Cindy Lou's poppies, Cheerful Panda moments, Seaside swirls and Nested scalloped frames die set (Alex Syberia Designs) Distress oxide: Old paper   To create this card, I stamped the poppies from the Cindy Lou's poppies set, the lady bug from the Cheerful Panda Moments set and the mouse from the Sweet friend set, with a light ink. I then colored all the images with Copic markers. I used grey and black Copic liners to add details to the ladybug and mouse. I then used the Cindy Lou's poppies, Cheerful Panda Moments and Sweet friend coordinating dies to die cut the images.
