I love @sweetnovemberstamps chibis and the new Flutterbee Lyra is my new preferred one, I think, until the next one. She was a perfect match with the last release City Christmas sequin mix, so I made again a blue and purple-ish flurry background and added glitter snowflakes this time. Merry Christmas to all. Hope you had a great Christmas eve if you celebrate. I can't believe how lucky I am to be posting a lightup card on Christmas day and I thought it had to be pretty special. It isn't exactly a card, but rather an ornament, as I decided to create a double-sided snow globe with the lights visible on both sides. Hope you like it. I absolutely needed an excuse to pull the @concordand9th Door decor dies for a Christmas card and also wanted to make a funny card. I have a couple cards with the best gingerbread men ever, from @whimsystamps and @drawn.by.krista. These cuties stole my heart a couple years ago. Their happiness is so contagious!   Hot cocoa: Cookies for Santa (Whimsy Stamps) Baking sheet (La-La Land Crafts) Homemade with love (Honeybee Stamps) Winter mug, Holiday mug additions, Fall mug additions and Valentine mug additions (Pretty Pink Posh) Cracked embossing folder (Sizzix / Tim Holtz)   For this card, I started with the background panel, using white cardstock. I blended Distress oxide Frayed burlap and ran it through my die cutting machine with the Cracked embossing folder from Sizzix and Tim Holtz. I then dabbed Distress oxide Vintage photo and Ground espresso, directly from the pad onto the panel. Next, I die cut the baking sheet with the La-La Land die from white cardstock. Sharing a couple cards with the @thestamp_market goodies to which I have added some cute nutcrackers for more fun, one from @teamspellbinders and the other from @concordand9th For both cards, I started by inking and stenciling the background panels. I used white cardstock and started by applying Distress oxide Tattered rose on the entire panel. Then, using the Festive garland stencil from The Stamp Market, I blended Old paper and Mowed lawn through the first stencil and Mowed lawn and Vintage photo through the second stencil. Some naughty boy doesn't seem to be the sharing kind. Who will be brave enough to save those poor gingerbread men? Don't say "Me" if you intend to safeguard them in your stomach! I can't believe I finally got a chance to play with the @teamspellinders Cozy toe slippers, and it was so much fun. I struggled a bit with the design, first of all because, after seeing so many versions of the cozy toe slippers, it was really hard to think of something new. Then, my original plan was to have a 100% die cutting card and if you know my feed, you know die cuts are totally out of my comfort zone and not my go to technique. So I finally decided to mix them with stamped images and I'm happy I did it. I just love how this card turned out.
