Sharing a new lightup card with the @pearblossompress Twinkle lights. Twinkle lights are so versatile and while they are the absolute perfection for stars, I thought it would be fun to use them for thunder. Sharing another card with the @teamspellbinders Honee bee jar die set. This time, I paired it with the @mftstamps Beeline to your heart, illustrated by @jenoblade_ The reel for this card is comprised of two parts. This is one of those cards which I wasn't happy with, once finished, not dimensional enough to me (I know, this is kind of weird coming from me!). Whenever that happens, I usually don't try to fix it straight away and wait at least for a night. If I still don't like it the next day, then, it means it needs a redo. For this card, though, I had absolutely no appetite for a redo from scratch, so I delicately unattached the critters and lead, and die cut the jar. I then die cut more elements to complement the card, hence the second reel. I'm quite satisfied with the second version. I'm sharing a special project today which I made for my niece who just turned 14. The starting point for this album was the @doodlebugdesigns Kitty collection released last year and, yes, I had planned to create this album last year, but never found the time to make it on time. So I thought I absolutely had to make it this year before she gets too old to appreciate its content. I stamped, colored and laminated the cover. I also created a paw clasp to hold the album closed, with the @waffleflowercrafts Paws up die, which I colored with Distress oxides and then laminated to make it more resistant. I glued 2 velcro dots with epoxy on the cover and paw pads. In addition, I upcycled a small notebook by creating a new cover for it, echoing the album cover. Then the album has a ton of pockets which I hand-made, creating windows with square dies and acetate to store cute die cuts and stickers from the Doodlebug designs kitty collection, as well as hand-made die cuts, using the Doodlebug Co...

Today, I have a fun interactive card to share, a rocking double shaker easel! To create the base elements, I started by die cutting 2 circle frames with the Stitched circle frames die from white cardstock. I kept the 2nd greater circle as well as the 5th greater circle and also reserved the central plain cercle piece. I then die cut several circles from white cardstock, using the Layered circle die set: three 4.5 inches and three 3 inches circles. Onto a big circle and a small circle, I blended Distress oxides Speckled egg and Salvaged patina. These will be the bottoms of the shakers. I then stamped the images from the Sakura blooms stamp set, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies. I also die cut 7 additional pieces of the floral wreath to form the inner shaker. To assemble the big circle shaker, I started by adhering thick 3D foam at the back of the smaller circle frame.
