Mine Mine Mine

Yesterday, I finally was able to create a non DT card and I've had that silly seagull card idea on my mind ever since @waffleflowercrafts released those sets. I had a lot of fun making this one, though I could have used that beach and sea. One of those too hot days to actually craft but I really wanted to create something. Hope it makes you smile Products: Inquisitive seagulls die and stamp and Happy seagull die (Waffle Flower Crafts), Burger N Fry die set (The Sassy Club), Mine mine mine (Paperie Ink), Pool water stencil (Papertrey Ink), Build a beach stencil (My Favorite Things) Distress oxides: Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke, Black soot, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon, Crackling Campfire, Candied apple, Scattered Straw, Tea-dye, Salvaged Patina and Salty Ocean #waffleflowercrafts #thesassyclub #cardmaking #cardmakingofinstagram #handmadecards #diecutting #summercard

Love from me to you

Today, I'm sharing a simple card idea with the @alexsyberiadesigns Sweet friend which I combined with the Love die set and Charming flora cover die Products: Sweet friend, Love die, Charming flora cover die, Giraffe-ic friends and Nested Scalloped frame die set Distress oxide: Tattered rose   To create this card, I die cut the back panel from pink shimmery cardstock with the Charming flora cover die. I then cut a panel of the same height and about half the width from white cadstock. I stamped the cloud from the Giraffe-ic friends stamp set twice on the white panel and masked them. Using the larger scalloped rectangle from the Nested scalloped frame dies, I created a cloud stencil from white cardstock and ink blended Distress oxides Tattered rose and Kitsch flamingo. I stamped the cute mice couple on white cardstock and colored all the images with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the mice. I then used the Love die set to cut the outline from the same cardstock

Love you to Neverland and back

Today, I have a particular ligh-up card to share, combining the @pearblossompress Power pack and some @chibitronics lights. The power pack is a genius product for me. Once I got a reminder of how electric circuits work, I managed to overcome the copper tape struggle, but what always gave me a hard time is creating a placeholder for the battery and make sure the contact is good when pressing on the battery only. The power pack comes to the rescue because it comprises the battery holder and a switch. And suddenly, it becomes a lot easier to combine the two brands. So you'll tell me why use Chibitronic lights? Because then it also gives you the ability to add a lot more lights to your project! For this project, I used 3 amazing Peter Pan stamp sets from The Sassy Club @sandraspitaleri Products: Power pack and World's best foam tap (Pear Blossom Press) Copper tape and lights (Chibitronics) Wendy, Fairytale island and Hooked (The Sassy Club) Mask 29 (Studio light) Moon mask (Tim Hol

You're quite the catch

I'm on the @pinkandmain blog today with two interactive cards. On one side, a rocking card with the Fish bowl dies and Ocean animal dies, and on the other side a pop-up frame card with the Aquarium dies, Fish bag dies and School of fish dies. I die cut the Fish bowl dies from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut the shark from the Ocean animals dies and also colored him with Copic markers. And finally, I also die

Take care panda bear

I'm sharing a masking project for @whimsystamps showcasing their amazing No-fuss masks. If you like masking as much as I do, whether you are a beginner or advanced crafter, you will want to test and adopt their masks. These are, to my opinion, the best masks out there! The masks are super resistant, even to heavy ink blending. They are easy to remove, don't scratch the paper nor leave any adhesive residue on your work. And, as amazing as it sounds, they are truly reusable. And if you hate fussy cutting, there is now a very large choice of pre-cut masks coordinating with Whimsy Stamp sets. Or... you could use their masking sheets! Whimsy Stamps products used: - Panda butt stamp set and No-fuss instant masks - No-fuss masking sheets - Grass frames die set (bamboo leaves) - Slimline Fence die set (tall grass) - Forest majesty die set (birch trees as bamboos) - Slimline Dog bone die set (poop and smell) - Oops Word and outline die - It's cloudy stencil Distress oxides: Old

Sending a card full of hugs

For today's project, I finally got some time to try the gorgeous Elegant peony die set from @alexsyberiadesigns which I paired with a cute mouse from the Sweet friend set. For the background, I used the Tiny hearts cover die Products: Elegant peony die set, Sweet friend, Tiny hearts cover die and Smile and wave (sentiment) To create the card, I started by diecutting the background panel from white cardstock with the Tiny hearts cover die. I blended Distress oxide Old paper, insisting on the edges. I then die cut the Elegant peony from white cardstock and blended Old paper on the stems and leaves and Spun sugar on the petals.  I then watercolored the stem and leaves with Distress oxide sprays Twisted citron and Rustic wilderness. I then watercolored the petals with Spun sugar, Kitsch flamingo and Worn lipstick, going from the lighter color on the back petals to the darkest color on the front petals. I dabbed the excess with a paper towel. I then splattered gold watercolor all over

To create the frame on the front panel, I used the middle Arches die. On the back panel, I stamped the sentiment from the What fish say stamp set with Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder. With the second largest Arch die, I also die cut a piece of acetate to create the shaker. I then die cut the Coral reef elements from white cardstock and colored them with Distress oxides. I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic wilderness for the greenery, Mustard se

I am so thankful to have you in my life

I have a very colorful card today with the new @alexsyberiadesigns Mysterious petals die set which I decided to pair with the Paradise birds. For the background, I used the new Beautiful day hot foil plate and for the sentiment, the Bouquet of blessings stamp set. Distress oxides: Tattered rose, Kitsch flamingo, Picked raspberry, Wilted iolet, Twisted citron, Rustic wilderness, Mustard seed and Carved pumpkin To create this card, I started by blending Distress oxide Tattered rose on the background panel and then hot foiled it with the Beautiful  day plate and Matte gold foil. I hot foiled the panel a first time on one half of the panel and then rotated the plate by 180 degrees to create a mirror effect on the other half. I then die cut the Mysterious petals die set from white cardstock and gold glitter cardstock. I ink blended the different elements with Distress oxides: - Stem and leaves: Twisted citron and Rustic wilderness - Petals: Mustard seed and Carved pumpkin, Kitsch flamingo,
