Hello Crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a fun card featuring the new Crafty Meraki Love Potion stamp set with one of the mermaids from the Mertini on the rocks stamp set. Do you want to know how I managed to make this mermaid get into the bottle?   To start, I cut a square from masking paper, the size of the label on the Love potion bottle and adhered it on my cardstock right where the image will be stamped. I'm doing this to be able to stamp the whole image without that label. I then stamped the Love potion image and removed the masking paper. I also stamped the sentiment from the same set. Next, I masked the inside bottom of the bottle with tape and stamped the mermaid. As you will notice, the mermaid is slightly too big to fit in the height of the bottle. My trick is to cut her tail and stamp it upside down, behind her, like she bent it. I also stamped the mermaid on masking paper, fussy cut the image and adhered it to my front panel. I cleaned my stamp and positioned it ups

I had a blast making this card and I can't wait to play with the other stamp sets I got As I don't have a small fish stamp set from Carla Creaties (yet), I thought it would be fun to use the fabulous Stampingbella Oddball fish instead. I recently reached a new Instagram milestone with 1,500 followers. Yay! This would have normally called for a special card, to thank all my followers... but I have to admit I wasn't quite in the mood 🙀😿 I'm feeling very frustrated by the number of likes I've been getting the past month 💔 They have dropped so much that I'm expecting to get negative likes any time soon 😂 You must have noticed I've decided to not display them anymore. And unlike some of you, I will not display them once the posts reach a good number, because they actually don't anymore. And I'm hoping I will eventually stop paying attention 🙈   Anyways, this card is my way to vent 😤, but also an opportunity to thank YOU who is reading this post, from the bottom of my heart, because you are part of the very few that are still here and have given me your constant support and kindness. As promised earlier today, here is the full @craftymeraki Garden of Eden stamp colored with Copic markers. As much as I love the card posted earlier today, I had a little frustration from not coloring the full image when I made the card. So last week end, as I was in need of some relaxing coloring, I went ahead and colored the full image. Hello Crafty friends! The beautiful stamp in the background is from the latest Crafy Meraki release and is called Garden of Eden! What a beautiful name for a beautiful stamp. This is a very large stamp and I only used half of it. And the name was just an invitation to add an Adam and Eve in the front. These characters are from the Valentine set. Then because one of the new stamp sets, Work of heart, has an apple, it had to be on this card, embedded in the speech bubble of the Love story stamp set. This is the kind of scenes I love to create... when it all fits together like it was meant to! To create this card, I started by stamping the background on white cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers.  I then stamped the Valentine characters and colored them with Copic markers too. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies. I then stamped the speech bubble from the Love story stamp set on masking paper and cut the middle part with the heart (cuting out the frame

Today I'm sharing a card a made from a recent @Crafy_Meraki stamp set, called Penelope's garden. I just love this set... It is so big and allows for making very big cards or multiples out of the same image.  I decided to stamp and watercolor the entire image, not knowing what I'd do with it. Once it was done, I couldn't decide to cut it out and make multiples with it... I just love that it's a big card and I'm really happy with the watercoloring too. I'm still struggling a lot with watercolors, but I really like the colors of this card. So I just trimmed the left part a little bit and adhered it to my card base. Since I had not planned for how the card would be finished, I was left with not much room for a sentiment. So I decided to use this little, yet strong, sentiment from the Dream big stamp set. I am litterally in love with this set, mostly because I love cats and unicorns, and because I just love the cuteness of these critters. And that sentiment! If you've seen some of my older posts, you know I have a thing for sleeping creatures on clouds and moons and this caticorn called for another sleeping moon card...
