Today, I'm sharing a light-up card. Amanda @pearblossompress kindly sent me her amazing lights to try them out. So today, I'm actually sharing my 3rd card with them. The first two ones are coming soon. For this project, I used the One light set which is sooo easy to use and I thought it would be perfect to light up this barbecue. I think I've had that card design in mind for over a year and always wanted to create a BBQ design for my brother as he truly is a grill master. And I guess I had been waiting for the perfect barbecue set to be released, which Trinity Stamps did this year! As always, I mixed and matched with theme-related sets from other brands, including The Greetery, Honeybee stamps and Hero Arts. I have a new set of Postage Collage cards today, mixing the @waffleflowercrafts collection with @clearlybesotted sets and a few @prettypinkposh layered stencils. The Halloween fun continues at @whimsystamps and today, I'm sharing some inspiration with the Fuzzy spiders and Got peepers stamp sets. I like that both sets are all about eyes, big eyes that you can easily customize. Today, I'm setting the scene in the attic, a place, I make sure I never go! Spiders are not my friends and these are the maximum fright I can handle. The amazing book images are from the Poe boy stamp set.  For my scene, I also used two rubber background stamps that I love, the Farmhouse shiplap and the Brick backgrounds. Whimsy Stamps have the greatest background stamps and these are must-have if you like to create scenes like me. Do you have a color you struggle with? For me, it is purple. Maybe because I don't use it often enough, outside Halloween, or maybe it is because I haven't found the perfect Copic combo yet. Earlier this week, I finally received my package of pre-ordered goodies from @waffleflowercrafts. I always find it a little frustrating not to be able to get a hand on amazing products as soon as they are released, but being on the other side of the Atlantic, I should be used to it! I often find it hard to come up with new card ideas, when so many versions have already been shared on social media... and that's another good reason for me to mix and match sets and brands! As far as the Postage collage collection goes, mixing and matching sets offers unlimited possibilities. And, as I was going through my stash for ideas of associations, my brain almost exploded. So I had to refocus on just one idea and theme, so I wouldn't end up with a dozen card ideas or be completely overwhelmed. So for this first series, I chose the fruit theme, which is quite everywhere at the moment... And I'm sensing that I'll have to do more of those in a few weeks when I receive the new @wafflefl

For my second @whimsystamps Halloween project, I wanted to use the Cutie batootie stamp set which I really love. Bringing it early gives me an opportunity to reuse it a few more times this season! And I chose to combine it with the Got peepers stamp set. I think they make a great combo. For my scene, I also created that huge watercolored moon, which I turned into a creepy moon with the Halloween expressions stencil. I also used the stencil on the stamped pumpkins.  I just love how the card turned out. One of my preferred Halloween makes ever so far and I hope there will be many more this season! Today, I have another album to share!  I've been collecting the beautiful @sweetnovemberstamps mermaid cuties for the past two years and as I was ready to finally use them, I just couldn't decide which I should use and which not (Same reason I bought so many!). They all are soooo cute. So then, I thought an album would be the best way to finally use all of them. More details below about each page Front and Back Cover pages The front and back covers were die cut from white cardstock with the Studiolight submarine die set. I then inked the body parts with Distress oxides Squeezed lemonade and then sprayed Distress oxides Squeezed lemonade, Salvaged patina and Fossilized amber for the body. For the metal elements of the submarine, I used Distress oxides Pumice stone and Vintage photo, as well as Distress mica Brushed pewter.   As I wanted to get a rusty look on the metal parts, once dry, I also dabbed more Distress oxide Vintage photo with a brush and as it wasn't enough, I
