I have a couple Postage cards today, but this time, I'm using the @thestamp_market Postage stamps cover die and the coordinating stencil. I like that the stamps are a bit bigger, so it is ideal for any stamp set (don't have to be tiny stamps) I combined the set with the cute foxes from @ccdesignsrs and the cute squirrels are from the Happy fall set from @gerdasteinerdesigns. I have a floral card today featuring fireworks! Yes, you read correctly! When I first saw the new @alexsyberiadesigns Illuminated Night Sky hot foil plate and die set, I immediately thought of gerberas, so I thought it would be fun to make a floral card with them. I started by foiling the fireworks onto white cardstock using gold glimmer foils and used the coordinated die set. I then inked them with D?istress oxides and shaped them on a foam mat. To create the foliage, I used the Classic foliage die set, released some time ago, which I die cut from gold and glitter cardstock. For the background, I used the Spring garden stamp set which I stamped on black cardstock and heat embossed with gold powder. I thought it would be fun to create Panda Care Bears with the new @alexsyberiadesigns Cheerful panda moments. I think they are so cute like that! I also used small stamps from the Always be yourself and the new Celebrate with cake sets to customize each bear in relation to its color.  I die cut the two front panels from the new Slimline nested stitched die set. For the sentiment, I used the new Celebrations sentiments hot foil plate which I foiled with rainbow glimmer foil, and used the Thin stripes cover die to cut the stripe out. In the background, I blended Distress oxides with the Joyful rainbow stencil set, released at the beginning of the year. And the colorful clouds are from the Always be yourself stamp set and were stamped with Distress oxides too. Today, I'm sharing more inspiration with the latest @whimsystamps mini release. For my project, I combined the new No bones about it with the Slimline Dog Bone die set and the Runnding scared die set released last week. I was hoping for a skeleton stamp set this year to pair with the Dog Bone die, so when I first saw the No bones about it set, I was ecstatic. Today, I'm showcasing the new @alexsyberiadesigns Celebrate with cake set and the Carnival party stencil and die set. I like that the Cake set offers various coloring options (whether with markers or inks) and die cutting into a single or multiple layers. It also comes with various decorative elements that you can add on the cake, as well as patterns to decorate the cake layers.  For this card, I chose to copic color the tray and the cake layers, and then ink the other pieces with Distress oxides or heat emboss them. For more fun, I also added two cute pandas from the new Cheerful panda moments set. In the background, I used the new Carnival party stencil set with the ribbons. I also used the same set to create the windwheel in the back. The set has 2 stencil layers as well as coordinating dies to cut the shapes out. When I was proposed to join the @WhimsyStamps Halloweener team this year, I challenged myself to go a bit darker and less clean with my cardmaking, and it took me a bit of time to adjust, I guess. And I'm sure Halloween lovers will find this card just darling but it's probably as dark as my cardmaking can get! Anyways, crackle paste was also a first for me and it was really fun to use it on the new Thorny Frame die. As weird as it sounds, I really love this card, or at least how it turned out. Today, I get to showcase two fireworks products from the new @alexsyberiadesigns collection. The first one is the Dazzling fireworks cover die which I used to both foil and die cut the background. On top of it, I also used the Illuminated Night Sky hot foil plate. I like that both products allow to add a ittle shine to the card without being too much. I also added one of the cute pandas from the new Cheerful panda moments set. The cloud is from the previously released Giraffe-ic friends. I was so excited when I found out about @whimsystamps new product launch. I'm a sucker for masking but when it comes to fussy cutting, really not my cup of tea! If you are not too familiar with masking and fussy cutting, know that it requires a lot of precision to get a nice result. These no-fuss masks have the perfect size!! So not only are you going to save a lot of time with these, but you'll be sure to get a neat result! Now, I use masks a lot and I am very demanding with them. The adhesive must be strong enough to stay in place when you ink blend over them, but it should be easy to peel the mask off without scratching your paper or leaving adhesive residue on your paper... because that is a Copic killer and would affect your ability to blend markers. Another quality I'm very careful about is the thickness of the masking paper. I loooove to stamp multiple layers for my scenes and when the masking paper is too thick, the stamping is then partial, leaving an unreachable e

The pandas from the new @alexsyberiadesigns Cheerful Panda Moments set really crack me up. I also have a soft spot for sleeping critters. So when I saw that cute sleeping panda, I knew I wanted to have him sleeping on a moon. And as I was debating with myself on how to use the new Nested Stitched Circle die set for the moon, it suddenly became obvious to me I had to make a snowglobe! This card is interactive in so many ways! Since it is a snowglobe, it had to have a shaker. Also, I wanted the snow globe to be in an upright position, so I decided to create an easel. And that sleeping Panda on a moon totally reminded me of certain night lights, so it made sense to also light it up. To create the frame of the snow globe, I used both nested circles and die cut the background and back circles from the larger die. I stamped the cute panda directly onto the background and masked it. I also die cut a small circle from masking paper to create the moon. I then inked the background with Distress

Today is a special day as we are celebrating Deb Davis' birthday, the Creative Director of @WhimsyStamps. Happy birthday Deb! Have a zombie-licious day! Gore isn't my usual style, but I had fun trying to create rot and blood.    To create this card, I started by stamping the hands and Zombie word from the Zombie-licious stamp set and masked the image. I then ink blended the background, first with Distress oxide Speckled egg. I then smooched some Old paper here and there, then darkened around those dots with Bundled sage and to finish Forest most. With the Clawed stencil, I blended Candied apple to create splatters of blood and scratches. I then unmasked the images and colored them with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiments and zombies from the Zombie party, Zombie-licous and Boo-day sets. To finish the card, I stamped splatters of blood from the Distressed background and inksplats with red ink, and then again with versamark, added Lumberjack plaid embossing glaze and heat set

Today, I have a slimline card featuring the new Flickering Candlelight stencil set from @alexsyberiadesigns together with the Slimline Nested Stitcked die set. To make it more playful, I also added a few pandas from the new Cheerful Panda Moments, peeking from behind the candles, using the masking technique. I also used the EZ-Light from @pearblossompress to light up 3 of the candles.
