Sharing another inspiration with the new @whimsystamps A2 Toner cards For this card, I used the Graveyard scene without foiling it. Using the Honceycomb drips stencil, I drew the dripping blood on cardstock, fussy cut it and inked it with Distress oxide Candied apple. I also stamped a few splatters with red ink on the Toner card, using the Distressed backgrounds and inksplats stamp set. With the latest release @whimsystamps comes another great set of A2 Toner cards, with a Halloween theme Today, I'm featuring the Candy corn background, which I colored with Copic markers after foiling. I then fussy cut the candies to integrate to my scene. When the @whimsystamps InstaGator set was released, that one alligator made me immediately think of the Hungry Hippos. My brother and I were offered the game one Christmas and we absolutely loved it. Today, I have this playful box card featuring the It's playtime stamp and die sets, released last month. I love the cuteness of these kids and I love how complete this set is; it has not less than 6 different kids and complementary images (teddy bear, birds, etc.), on top of a fun gigantic playset!   To create the box card, I die cut a first panel of 5 by 5 inches and with a 4 by 4 square die, I created an opening in the center, leaving more space at the bottom for the sentiment which I stamped with black ink I cut a second panel of the same height and 7 1/2 in width. I scored this panel at 1/4 and 1 1/4 on either sides. This panel will form the back and sides of the box card. With the My Favorite Things Cloud edge stencil, I'm blending Distress ink Salty ocean at the back I'm also cutting 3 inside tabs for the scene, 5 1/2 in width and with a different height for each: 1 1/2, 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 respectively. Today is my brother's birthday and for this special occasion, I finally made my first platform pop-up card! Yay!   A few months ago, I had made a notebook for him and I wanted to make a matching card. Today, I am showcasing the new Mini slim Tree house die from @whimsystamps. This is a cool die that you can use as a silhouette on a blended background or designer paper. If you know the Trick or Treat House stamp set, this is actually a bigger version of the tree house featured on that stamp set. How cool is that? On one of the cards, I paired the die with the Build a graveyard die set and featured some bats and scared cat. I also die cut the moon from one of the new Haunted graveyards designer paper sheet On the other card, I played with glowing embossing powder at the back of the Tree house and a glowing paste which I applied with the Halloween expressions stencil.
