I'm on the @pinkandmain blog today with a cute polar bear jumping in a mug of hot cocoa and marshmallows. Love this time of the year and can't resist hot cocoa and mini marshmallows. For this card, I used the Cocoa for you (bear mug) and Mugs and kisses (sentiment and marshmallows) sets. The cute bear is from the Bear with wagon set To create this card, I first stamped the cute bear and masked it. I then stamped the tiny marshmallows, masking the bottom part. I also masked the marshmallows before stamping and masking the mug. I then hand-drew the 3 tiny marshmallows and masked them. I then blended inks in the background, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. I then masked the sentiment and splattered white gouache. I unmasked all images and colored them with alcohol markers and added highlights in the eyes with a white gel pen. So excited to be sharing my very first card for @pinkandmain today! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and good start into the new year! I heard there might still be a few gingerbread cookies left... but probably not for too long! For this card, I mixed several Pink and Main sets: Stocking stuffers (doggo), Gingerbread kisses (gingerbread man) and Gumballs (sentiment) To create this card, I first stamped the cute dog head from the Stocking stuffers set and masked the image. I then stamped and masked the gingerbread man, and, to finish, I stamped and masked the gingerbread house. I then created a mask for the ground by cutting a piece of cardstock in a wave. I then blended inks in the background, stamped and masked the sentiments, and splattered white gouache. I unmasked all images and colored them with alcohol markers and added highlights in the eyes with a white gel pen. Sharing a Christmas card... I know that's weird considering I haven't posted any since December 25th. This card was made with newbies received too late and I just couldn't resign myself to waiting for another year or even next July. When I made the Vintage soda postage card, I wasn't aware that @mftstamps would release again the Soda pop die set but I had that Vintage Santa stencil set from the @thetonstamps in transit. So when the Soda pop die set came out, I knew I had to combine these two and until I had them in my hands, I wasn't sure they would pair so beautifully and perfectly. I love how this card turned out and I already know I'll have to use it some more next year, because that Vintage Santa stencil is just gorgeous. Today, I'm sharing a shaker card and its coordinating shaker tag featuring the beautiful @alexsyberiadesigns Snowflake petals cover die. To create this set, I die cut twice the Snowflake petals cover die from white glitter cardstock. Using the big circle from the Timeless blooms celebration die set, I die cut a circle from the center of the Snowflake petals cover. Next, I die cut 3 circles from white cardstock using the larger circle die from the Nested stitched circle die set. I then ran one of the circles a second time, cutting out the central part with the Small snowflake from the Snowflake layering die set. I then adhered the circle from the Snowflake petals at the back, as well as a circle of acetate. I also added 3D foam at the back on the edge of the circle. I took a second circle and also cut out the back panel of the card. On both, I blended Distress oxides Salvaged patina, Peacock feathers and Uncharted mariner. Sharing a very festive shaker card today. I wish I shared the same joy as these two right now, but I'm glad I have cardmaking in my life as my happy place. For this fun shaker, I used the 20's gals and fellas from CC Designs and the Marquee frame die from Hero Arts. As we are about to close 2023, I'm sharing a festive card to celebrate the new year, featuring the @alexsyberiadesigns Happy new year hot foil plate and coordinating die, and the Brilliant burst hot foil plate which pairs beautifully with the Illuminated night sky hot foil plate. For more fun, I added two cute pandas from the Cheerful panda moments set and used the cocktails from the Paradise birds set. To create the card, I started by blending Distress oxides Prize ribbon and Chipped sapphire in the background. I then used the Brilliant burst and Illuminated night sky hot foil plates to foil the fireworks in gold matte and red speckle. I then stamped the pandas from the Cheerful Panda Moments set and the cocktails from the Paradise birds set on white cardstock. I colored them with Copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies for the Cheerful Panda Moments and Paradise Birds.
