For this card, I used a bunch of new and less recent Time for tea designs stamp and die sets. I would have typically made a one layer card for that kind of scene but since I used the retro phone builder die set, I thought it would be fun to mix one layer and die cutting techniques to give a little dimension to the card. Hello Crafty friends, Last week I posted a card using the new Crafty Meraki Merakulous Mini slimline die with white and holographic cardstock. Today's project is about reusing the leftovers from that card. I decided to use only the biggest wing, but there a few more you could reuse from the die cut. And because two tutorials in one is even better, I'll start by telling you how I created the first version At the back of my holographic cardstock, I adhered a double-sided adhesive sheet. This is totally optional, but such a time saver for the next steps! I then die cut the holographic cardstock with the Merakulous Mini slimline die. I also die cut the Merakulous Mini slimline die from white cardstock. Time to assemble the card! I prepared a card base and adhered the white frame. I then placed the holographic wings inside the white frame. This is where the double-sided adhesive sheet comes in handy, because you can quickly and easily place each piece from the adhesive rel

Hello Crafty friends, Today, I'm sharing a fun jungle card featuring 3 of the new Crafty Meraki leaf dies released last week: Laurel leaf, Olive leaf and Fern leaf. What is awesome about these dies is that they come in two different sizes, a small and large size that you can either combine or match to the size of your project. For my project, I used the small size dies. To create this project, I started by cutting an A2 front panel and created an opening with a circle die. I then stamped the sentiment at the top, from the Dream big stamp set. I die cut 3 times each leaf from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I stamped the tiger mom and cub from the Mama bear stamp set, colored the image with Copic markers and die cut the image with the coordinating dies. I then created my cardbase and assembled the card. I glued half the leaf die cuts on my card base, using the front panel as a guide to glue the leaves just behind the circle. I then glued the other half, at the b

I really love the movies theme and there are not many stamp sets that tackle this theme. As you will see later this week I'll post another pop corn card which I made before @timeforteadesigns and @waffleflowercrafts released the amazing products I used for this card today. To make this card, I started with the background. I put some masking tape at the bottom, right where the wood floor will be stamped later on. Using the Time for Tea designs Popcorn stencil, I ink blended some Distress oxide Antique linen and then Mustard seed just on the edge of each popcorn. Then, I stamped the wood floor with the Picket Fence Studios Slim line Tall grass and Waves with Tile and Wood floors stamp, with brown ink. I used Copic markers to color the wood floor. Next, I stamped all the images from the Time for tea designs Movie night stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out. I then die cut the Waffle Flower crafts pop corn bag and pop corns. I

Hello Crafty friends, Today, I have a project that will allow you to make two cards at the same time. This is a nice way to save time AND get a different look and feel with the same die. For this project, I used the new Lenten rose Mini slimline die. I applied Distress Ink Salvaged patina, Mustard seed and Saltwater taffy on my craft mat. I then sprayed water and dipped my cardstock into the ink multiple times, drying it with a heat tool between each dip, until I got the effect I wanted. I then let it dry completely. Once it was dry, I adhered a double-sided adhesive sheet at the back of my background. This is totally optional, but such a time saver for the next steps! I then die cut my background with the Lenten rose Mini slimline die. I also die cut the Lenten rose background from white cardstock to create the second card version. Time to assemble the cards! Hello Crafty friends Today, I have a watercolor minislim card inspiration to share with you with the gorgeous Birthday bouquet stamp illustrated by Emily Midgett. To start, I stamped the image on watercolor cardstock and colored it with Karin brusmarkers pro. I also watercolored around the flowers and leaves with Distress ink Antique Linen and Vintage photo for a softer background and constrast with the vibrant colors of the Karin markers Once dry, I used the Birthday star Mini Slimline middle die to cut the image. I then stamped the sentiment from the Hug in a mug stamp set, with Ink on 3 embossing ink and heat embossed white powder. I created a cardbase slightly larger and taller than the slimline panel and rounded the four angles with a corner rounder. I then glued the slimline panel on the cardbase Hope you like it!
