Today, I have two shaker tags made from a single stamped and watercolored image, from the Monet's Garden stamp set, freshly released. This beautiful image was illustrated by @eamidgett.  I love that the stamp is extra large and you can use part or whole of it in your papercraft projects I stamped the Monet's garden image with the My Favorite Things Extreme Black Hybrid Ink  and watercolored the image with Distress inks. I also added a little shimmer with the Altenew Metallic watercolor set on the edges of the leaves and petals  I let the image fully dry. Then, I die cut the image in its center with the tag from the Love Slimline tag die set and the sentiment from the Birthday slimline tag die set. I'm securing the tag and sentiment together with washi tape, so I can die cut another set of cardstock with the exact same placement. I'm keeping all the cut out bits, including the negative parts. The youngest of my two nieces is turning 9 and I made this rainbow card for her. Today, I have a fun interactive card with the new @whimsystamps Poof! word die. When you pull the tab, the lady is getting pulled under the ground and the cat above the grave goes into panick attack!! Hope this card makes you giggle!!! For the pull mechanism, I actually created a double slider. If you don't know what double sliders are, I invite to look for some tutorials. This is a cool feature for interactive cards. It is using a thin strip of plastic (from any plastic bag) which is wrapped around a piece of cardstock (through 2 slots) in a circle/O shape. On either side of the strip, you place different images. So when the tab is pulled, one image will go into one direction and the other into the opposite direction. So cool! Today, I have a slimline shaker card featuring the new Crafty Meraki Turtle-y awesome stamp set. To start, I die cut the View from my Window slimline die from white cardstock. Using it upside down from its original intent, to give the illusion of 3 fish bowls, I'm then creating a wall and shelves in the background. First, I'm placing masking tape above the first shelf line I want to create, and blend Distress oxide Antique linen and some Vintage photo and Ground espresso at the back (i.e. the top). I'm repeating this step for the three shelves. Then masking the shelves, I'm blending Distress oxide Antique linen everywhere else. With the My Favorite stamps Brick stencil, I'm blending Distress oxide Fired brick everywhere and then some Vintage photo and Ground espresso in little touches here and there  To finish my front panel, I'm adding some wood accents, with my Copic markers, on the shelves and creating shadows on the sides and shelf borders. Today, I'm sharing a simple interative card featuring the new @whimsystamps Poof! word die. For the interactive mechanism, I simply made a large slot behind the pocket and glued a pull tab at the back of the banknotes, so when you pull the tab, the banknotes disappear behind the front panel, through the slot. Have you seen the latest @Crafty_Meraki release with the new hot foil plates and coordinating stencils? Today, I'm using the new Elegance hot foil plate and coordinating stencils that complement the stamp and die sets previously released. And in today's project, I am using the full line of products available! I foiled the plate with Matte silver foil and then blended some distress oxides with the set of 5 stencils. The stencils are so easy to align and allow for stenciling in no time. To finish the card, I stamped and die cut the sentiment from the Elegance set. I really love the softness of these colors and I find the use of light foil colors can be an easy alernative to no line coloring with light stamping. Today I have a hot foiled shaker card, featuring new Crafty Meraki goodies from this week release, with the Eccentric Hearts and the Handmade love foil plates. To create this card, I foiled white cardstock and red cardstock with the new Eccentric hearts glimmer plate and Red foil from Spellbinders I then trimmed both panels along the rectangle edges foiled by the plate. On the red panel, I created a heart opening with the Heartful greetings coordinating dies. I taped acetate at the back of the panel to create a shaker. I then added 3D Foam at the back of the red panel. I poured some heart sequins over my back panel (from white cardstock) and adhered the front panel on top of it, making sure the heart pattern is correctly aligned. Using the new Handmade love glimmer plate and coordinating die, I created the Love sentiment with Matte silver foil on red cardstock. It's release day today @Crafty_Meraki. Another amazing release with beautiful hot foil plates and coordinating stencils. And we are having a fun hop on Instagram to celebrate this new product line addition To celebrate the new release, I'm sharing another card inspiration with the new Elegance hot foil plate and coordinating stencils. For my project, I foiled the image with Spellbinders Rainbow glimmer and then stenciled with grey shades. The stencil as 5 different layers that allow for adding all those beautiful details and play in constrast with the foil. I then used the coordinating dies to cut the image out. In today's project, I also used the new sentiment foil plate, Handmade love, which is a collection of several known sentiments across the Crafty Meraki stamp line, in that beautiful font. Welcome to Day 3 of 3 of the new @Crafty_Meraki hot foil and stencil release sneak peeks!! Today, I have a couple projects featuring the new Love for ever hot foil plate and coordinating stencils, complementing the stamp and die sets previously released. I also used the new sentiment foil plate, Handmade love and coordinating dies. The handmade love sets make it so easy and fast to create beautiful foiled sentiments!! On one of the card, I foiled the Love for ever plate onto white cardstock with Matte gold foil and on gold cardstock with Opal foil. I then used the Hugs slimline tag die to die cut the big Hugs sentiment. I then placed the sentiment right above the white panel, in the exact same position and added a sentiment from the Handmade love set. On the other card, I foiled the Love for ever plate with black foil, which gives that impression of a super crisp stamped image. With the set of 5 stencils, I colored the entire image and then placed two sentiments from the Handmade love
