Today, I have another card inspiration with the new Santas and friends stamp set from @whimsystamps. For this one layer card, I also used the Cat do Christmas stamp set released last month, as well as the Window background stamp I tried to practice shadows and light in my Copic coloring. I'm on the Crafty Meraki blog today with this cute card pairing the Paws-itively yours stamp set with the Wedding bouquet stamp set To create this card, I started by planning the placement of the various images, and then stamped first the girl with the cat from the Paws-itively yours stamp set. I then masked the images and stamped the roses from the Wedding bouquet stamp set I then stamped the sentiments, the big one from the Amazing blooms stamp set and the small one from the Paws-itively yours stamp set. I really like that they are of different font and size and they complement each other so well. Finally, I colored the images with Copic markers. I hope this card inspires you to mix and match sets more, including sets that would not normally go together. Today, I get to showcase the new Santas and friends stamp set from @whimsystamps. This is a very cute set with several Santas. There is also another stamp set in the release featuring the same Santa, called Santa's magic. I created a candy cane shaker card, thanks to the Mini slim rounded die set and foil plates. For the background, I stamped the Cosmic swirl background stamp with Distress oxide Candied apple. I really love how this card turned out! The new @whimsystamps mini release is available and we are seriously getting ready for some Christmas fun. And it looks like somebody lost track of time and is late. OMG! Hope I get the crafting supplies I asked for! Today's card is a shaker card, with a background I created with the new It's snowing stencil. The stencil is super complete! It has lots of different snowflakes, a hill border and falling snow. With the stencil and a brush, I applied white pigment ink and heat embossed with white powder. I then ink blended the background with Distress oxides Tumbled glass, Salty ocean and Uncharted mariner. I used the 3 in 1 Mitered frame die set to create the border, die cut the OMG word and shadow die from gitter cardstock and ink-blended cardstock (same colors as the background). I then created the sub-sentiment from two stamp sets: Happy elephants and Warm fuzzies. To finish the card, I stamped, colored and die cut the running Santa from the Boing! stamp set. The Halloween fun continues @yournextstamp and today, I'm sharing a few inspiration with the Spooktacular Halloween stamp set. I've had a bag full of action wobbles for a few years now and I thought this would be the right occasion to put these critters on action over a fairly simple background. For the first card, I pulled my YNS Puffy cloud stencil and created a witchy sky with Distress oxides. For the second card, I wanted to recreate the mummy bandages. So I cut strips of paper, added a little filth with Distress ink Pumice stone and also worn out the edges with a distress tool (aka razor blade holder) and finally randomly assembled them. I am so thrilled about this post!! First of all, because I finally managed to find some time to prepare a Halloween package for my nieces. And also because I managed to use a bunch of products that I wouldn't have been able to use otherwise!!   I made a couple cards with the new Spellbinders Dancin' Mummy and Ghost die sets. For the background, I used an old Fun Stampers journey embossing folder, called Spooky, and a Simon says folder, released last year, called Cute ghosts. I'm also giving each 3 additional cards which I'm not revealing here, because they are yet to be posted on my feed, but you will recognize them as 2 sets of 3 interactive cards involving action wobbles. Today, I get to showcase the new @WhimsyStamps Slimline Toner front cards Terror 2 set. I picked one of the silhouette scene which has trees, graves and pumpkins. I chose not to foil it to make a quick card. I also decided to add a cat from the Got peppers set, which I heat embossed. I also colored the pumpkin and cat's eyes with Copic markers. To finish the card, I hadded a sentiment from 3 different stamp sets and stenciled a moon with Distress oxides, adding some details to the moon with the Clawed stencil. Here comes another background stamp from @whimsystamps with the Reflections tree! I chose to pair it with the cute otters from the Otter variety stamp sets and added a vintage frame with the 3 in 1 mitered frame die sets which I stamped with the Chippy paint background stamp. Today, I'm sharing a fun and cute stamp mashup. I paired the Roaring good time stamp set with the Love story stamp set, replacing the little girl by the ballerina. How fun is that? And the Elegance stamp set just had the perfect sentiment to go with this sweet scene, don't you think? To create this one layer scene, I started by stamping the elephant from the Roaring good time stamp set and then on masking paper. I fussy cut the mask and adhered it over the stamped image  I then stamped the sweet couple from the love story stamp set on masking paper and kept the girl which I placed over the ballerina, to make sure I'm also masking the area she occupies. I'm being careful to mask a bit more around her, so that if placement is not exact, I don't get any part of the girl stamped on my front panel.
